Keep Mesa County Agrarian

Small Government ∙ Strong People ∙ Restore Liberty!

Mesa County is at a critical crossroads: go full-on, unchecked urban sprawl Front Range mode with vast government overreach and heavy developer influence on local governments, or maintain an optimized balance between consumers and small family farms under which liberty, traditional American and agricultural way of life, healthy new trends, and tourism would flourish.

Almost two thirds of the Mesa county residents are small family farmers or live in unincorporated Mesa County. With support from both the municipality residents and the people living in unincorporated areas, we can keep Front Range 2.0 out of the valley!

Reasons to Vote Jiayi Liu, PhD Candidate (Farmer Jay)

If you enjoy local fresh foods, then let’s restore the freedom that local family farmers deserve and are in desperate need of. Let’s elect a local farmer as a county commissioner.

No outside agenda, only what people who actually live here want.

I have proven expertise and experience in information technology, heritage preservation, civic engagement against urban sprawl, civic engagement promoting historic farmland protection, as well as producing, marketing, and distributing locally grown food.

Furthermore, if you feel like it's a stormy day, remember that I GET IT, as I'm in Mack practically holding onto the roof of my 1970s trailer home with my wife and our two young children.

Lastly, I fully understand the burden that our county government has put on us farmers and those who live in the unincorporated areas, people who make up 2/3 of the total population in Mesa County. It has created unbearable obstacles and costs for producing food and making a living.

Vision

Keep Mesa County Agrarian. Make Mesa County the destination for small family farms. Let fresh and healthy local food flow in our valley and beyond, spreading liberty and happiness with it!
